The Plaza is what we make of it! It's the public heart of the kHaus. Here, you can linger, work, play, meet spontaneously for a meeting, dance or follow your ideas and projects...

The Plaza must evolve to meet the needs of its users. What does the Plaza need to make you feel at home? Write to us at the following address: feedback@khaus.ch.
kHaus Plaza offers plenty of space for your creativity. Do you have an idea you'd like to put into practice?
We'd be delighted to receive your request by e-mail at info@khaus.ch.
The kHaus is open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 9pm.
In the kHaus Plaza, you'll find sofas, tables, chairs and public toilets (Rhine exit). WiFi is also available, the network is called «walther gast», you can get the password in the Walther Buvette.
The Plaza is located at the heart of kHaus, spanning two floors with an area of approximately 250m². This publicly accessible space can be reached from the Rhine side via the basement or from the courtyard through the ground floor. The Plaza invites you to relax, play, learn, meet friends, have a picnic, or even organize an event.
Facilities include seating areas, tables, power outlets, a notice board, a book exchange and game box, restrooms, and internet access upon request. Adjacent to the Plaza, you’ll find Walther Bistro on the ground floor and the Buvette in the basement, where you can get food and drinks as well as the Wi-Fi password if needed. The Bistro also enhances part of the Plaza with seating, plants, rugs, and more.
The Plaza promotes a culture of mutual respect and mindful interaction. We stand for respect and peaceful coexistence. Discrimination—including sexism, racism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and any form of harassment—has no place in kHaus and will not be tolerated.
The Plaza is meant to be a collaborative space. Our goal is to create an environment where as many people as possible feel safe and comfortable.
kHaus provides public restrooms in the basement and on the second floor near the elevator, all of which are wheelchair accessible.
We kindly ask you to treat the space and its infrastructure with care, dispose of your waste properly, and refrain from smoking anywhere in kHaus. If you experience or witness anything uncomfortable during your visit, please reach out to the kHaus team or the event organizers.
